About Snazo

Snazo is an AI video clipping tool.

Snazo turns long videos — YouTube uploads, podcasts, live streams, webinars — into short vertical clips with captions, ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Paste a link, wait about a minute, download the clips. That is the whole product.

What Snazo does

Long-form video is where the best material lives: an hour-long interview, a three-hour stream, a recorded webinar. Short-form video is where people watch. Getting from one to the other has meant scrubbing through the recording, cutting it by hand, reframing it for a phone screen and typing the captions — hours of editing for every hour of footage.

Snazo does that work automatically. You give it a video link or a file. Snazo transcribes the audio, reads the transcript for moments that stand on their own, cuts them out, reframes each one to vertical and burns in captions. A few minutes later you have around ten finished clips to download. No timeline, no plug-ins, no editing skills required.

Snazo was built for the people who publish video every week and would rather spend their time recording the next one than cutting the last one. It is a single-purpose tool, and we intend to keep it that way.

How Snazo works

Three steps, all of them in the browser.

1

Paste a link or upload a file

Snazo accepts a YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Loom, StreamYard, Google Drive or Dropbox link — or a video file from your computer.

2

AI finds the best moments

Snazo transcribes the video, scores every segment and picks the moments that work on their own as short clips.

3

Download ready-to-post clips

Each clip comes reframed to vertical, with captions burned in, at the length you chose. Download them and post anywhere.

What you get with Snazo

Everything a short clip needs to be posted as-is, done in one pass.

Automatic clip selection

Snazo analyses the full transcript and picks self-contained moments: a complete thought, a question and its answer, a story with a beginning and an end.

Vertical reframing

Widescreen footage is reframed for phones. Snazo keeps the speaker in frame as the shot moves, so a 16:9 recording becomes a native 9:16 clip.

Captions in 37 languages

Every clip gets word-accurate captions generated from the audio, styled to be readable with the sound off.

Your clip length

Choose under 30 seconds, 30–60, 60–90 or up to 3 minutes, or let Snazo pick the length that fits each moment.

Four aspect ratios

9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts; 1:1 and 4:5 for feeds; 16:9 for YouTube and the web.

Nothing to install

Snazo runs in the browser. There is no desktop editor to learn and no render queue on your own machine.

Who uses Snazo

Creators and streamers

Turn a two-hour stream or a weekly show into a week of short posts without opening an editor.

How we build Snazo

Clipping, nothing else

Snazo does one job: it turns long videos into short clips. It is not a scheduler, an editor suite or a social network, and it never posts on your behalf.

Your video stays yours

You keep every right to the source video and to the clips Snazo makes from it. Snazo does not claim ownership of your content or reuse it for other customers.

Honest about the limits

Snazo only clips videos you own or have permission to use. It does not download content you have no rights to, and our Terms of Service say so plainly.

Our company

Snazo is the name of both the company and the product: an online video clipping service available at snazo.app. Snazo develops and operates AI-powered software for turning long-form video into short-form clips, offered as a subscription web application.

Snazo is a small, independent team. We are not part of a larger media company and we do not build for anyone else — the app at snazo.app is our one product. Questions about the company, press and partnerships go to hello@snazo.app; questions about your account go to support@snazo.app.
